Christmas lights for Brentford
For the second year running the Brentford High Street Steering Group has successfully raised enough money to bring Christmas lights to the town.
The lights will be turned by the young winners of Watermans' drawing competition, at a switch on party at Watermans on Friday, November 28.
Children from St Paul's CofE Primary School in St Paul's Road, Brentford, will be singing carols on the terrace and there will be a carousel and free refreshments for all.
Julia Quilliam of the steering group said: "I am delighted that we have been able to raise the money to install the lights again this year.
"The lights are a small but important step in making Brentford an even nicer place to live and work."
To coincide with the switching on ceremony, Watermans will be unveiling its canopy of Christmas lights.
The party starts at 6pm.
