freddie.jpgA distraught pet owner whose dog disappeared after being sucked into the sluice gates at Brentford Lock has issued a desperate appeal for information.

Gareth Evans' 11-month-old white Samoyed Freddie is still missing after falling into the Grand Union Canal on Sunday, January 25.

Gareth, 33, of Westbury Place, is clinging onto the faintest of hopes that his beloved pet will be found alive.

Gurdwara-Alice-Way-26.5.07.jpgSikhs have been living in the borough for over 35 years and the gleaming towers of the Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha are now a well-known part of the skyline of Hounslow.

On Thursday 5th February there is a chance to hear about the history, principles and every day practices of Sikhism at the Gurdwara in Alice Way, Hounslow TW3 3UA.

After a year and a half of adjustments plans to regenerate Brentford can finally go ahead after a finished version of the Brentford Area Action plan is adopted.

Officers told members of the Isleworth and Brentford area committee meeting last Thursday, that the plan which is one of the documents for planning the future development of Brentford, has gone through the required process and is now adoptable.

Watermans film programme goes from strength to strength as we present a range of movies that have been collecting awards on the national and international circuits.

You can catch some quality work from a range of British and International directors, in the comfort of our intimate cinema and surroundings of the venue.

Daredevas, -- the showcase for up and coming dancers, arrives at Watermans to kick off the new 2009 season.

Daredevas features the brightest young talents in contemporary Indian dance and is a rare opportunity to see the finest emerging artists for dance under one umbrella.

Chiswick lifeboat crew are donning their full protective equipment and taking part in a gruelling journey in aid of RNLI's national fundraising day.

The crew are seeking sponsorship to walk the 22 miles from the RNLI lifeboat station in Teddington to the RNLI Waterloo Pier lifeboat station.
