Revival of Brentford swimming club

Following the decline of the much loved Brentford and Chiswick Swimming Club four teachers have come together to create a new one.

Starting this evening at Brentford Leisure Centre in Chiswick High Road, swimmers of any age or skill can pop down for lessons from 6pm to 8pm.

Founder Ken Adey said: "Because the Brentford and Chiswick Swimming Club closed down, me and another few swimming teachers thought we would revive it and just create a little teaching club for the local area."

Membership for the year costs £5, with beginners being charged £20 a month and more advanced swimmers £28 a month.
