Wraysbury man Henry Butt has told how a decaying boat he bought from a Brentford shipyard turned out to have previously owned by the Royal Family.
Mr Butt was looking to buy a new boat when he found the remains of a 27ft Jolly Boat in 1993, later discovering it was one of two vessels used by the royals to go ashore from the Royal Yacht Britannia.
A 45-year-old Brentford man was arrested after a police raid on his houseboat uncovered £5,000 worth of stolen solar panels.
The Marine Policing Unit (MPU) led the operation to recover the five panels, after the Environment agency reported them stolen from a barge in February and March of this year.
