Giraffes-Can't-Dance.jpgComing up at Watermans in September is a range of events for all the family and all ages; Join us for a JUNGLE JIVE FAMILY FUN DAY on Sunday 13 September for a day of fun filled activities including a performance of Giraffes Can't Dance by Blunderbus Theatre Company - a fabulous musical and puppet performance.

There'll also be cartoon calamities in the cinema where you can watch your favourite cartoon characters plus face painting, make your own puppet and much more....!

Suitable for 3+ years
Tickets £8.50 / £7 concessions

12.30 - 1.00 Family Movement Workshop(15 child participants plus 15 adults)
In this workshop you will explore the way animals in the jungle move around. By the end you would have put together a mini dance routine containing the funky animal movements. Ages 3+ years

1.10 - 1.40 Family Movement Workshop(15 child participants plus 15 adults)
Same as above

2.00 - 2.55 pm THEATRE SHOW - Blunderbus presents GIRAFFE'S CAN'T
DANCE (for kids aged 4- 7 years)

Based on the children's book by poet Giles Andrae and Illustrator Guy Parker-Rees
Adapted for the stage by Bill Davies
Music and lyrics by Frank Goodhind
This is a fabulous musical and puppet performance by Blunderbus Theatre Company.

Gerald was a tall giraffe, whose neck was long and slim but his knees were awfully bandy, and his legs were rather thin.
Gerald was not a good dancer. Every year, he dreaded the great Jungle Dance. But what Gerald discovers one beautiful moonlit night is that when we're different, sometimes all we need is a different song to dance to...

Followed by a little presentation by a shadow version of Pinocchio. He will announce the winner of today's competition (which will, in turn, flag up the Christmas show)
