Traditional carols at St Faith's Christmas fayre.

Posted by Jessica Thomas on Nov 23, 09 04:10 PM in What's On

The Choir at St Faith's Chuch will be presenting the backdrop to tomorrow's Christmas shopping fayre.

St Faith's choir which has been based at the Windmill Road church since the church was founded in 1907 are asking locals to come and join them in singing a selection of favourite Christmas carols.

Choir mistress, Isobel Peaty said: "Song sheets will be available, so take a break from your shopping and turn up and sing."

From 6pm to 9pm the church is bringing West London's finest independent boutique shopping brands under one roof for an old fashioned Christmas fayre, with carols starting at 6pm with Lionel Road School pupils opening the evening.

St Faith's Choir will start at 7.30pm.

Many traders will also be demonstrating their craft on site too, from Christmas poultry preparation to the making of holly wreaths and garlands.

The Lord Nelson pub will also have two food stalls with Roast turkey dinners on skewers, devilled whitebait, salt and pepper squid, hot and spicy chicken wings and their hand cut chips.

Isobel and the choir are always keen to welcome new members whether you have sung in a choir before or not.

All those interested please speak to Isobel tomorrow evening or contact her via the parish office on office@parishofbrentford.org.uk or on 020 8568 6442.
