Comedy & Curry Nights Jan 2010 kicks off on Sun 17 Jan

Rob Rouse headlines the evening. Since winning Channel Four's prestigious 'So You Think You're Funny' competition in 1998, Rob has been a regular stand up performer at major venues on both the London and National circuit, know for hyperactive brand of humour.

His TV Credits include appearances on the first series of The Friday Night Project; 8 out of 10 Cats; and Spoons for Channel 4. He recently appeared in The Former Ambassador Robert Thornton on Paramount Comedy.

Dougie Dunlop is a highly talented observational comic. He effortlessly gets audiences laughing and sharing his unique take on life.

Dougie started his career at the "The Stand" in hometown Edinburgh, and made his fringe debut in 2000 as part of the "The Midnight Show" in the Gilded Balloon.
He performs at all the major comedy venues in the UK and abroad and his relaxed style and widespread appeal makes him much demand at major corporate events and weddings.

His precision humour is delivered with great warmth, and he's been selected by many high profile comics, both old school and new, to support them on tour. Dougie's comedic talents also include writing and acting. MC-Dave Ward is friendly, upbeat and universally liked.

Awarded status in the 'Black 100+' awards for the greatest Black British Achievers, Rudi's inclusion offered great acknowledgement for years of work challenging the way black communities are viewed from within and by others.
Jay Sodagar Jay terms his comedy as Social Conscience Comedy, this genre underlines observational, political and straight stand-up, and he likes to make people think about his material after they've laughed.
Hyde Panaser Hyde Panaser hit the comedy scene in 2007, having performed for over an hour for his first ever set. He is founder and headline act for an amateur comedy night called Humili-Asian, which offers a platform for comedy acts who want to test a stage.
MC-Prince Abdi He is a relative newcomer who has the material and confidence of that of full time comic. He has a lovely style in his delivery - pacy, upbeat and infectious - that makes the audience warm to him. Set pieces such as his Bollywood and Nollywood reconstruction capitalise on that energy well
